Villa Ocotal Oasis

The guys knew each other since elementary school, growing up in upstate New York. The dream of having property someplace always warm seemed unlikely. We started investigating the possibilities in 2021, and after several trips to Costa Rica, settled on the ‘Gold Coast’ of Costa Rica as our target area.

Villa Ocotal Oasis provided a unique possibility. This was a house we could occupy and host our friends, but also a property we could share with others. Purchased in October, 2022, it took months to get ready for rent, and we are still looking for ways to improve on the strong base we already have. We have partnered with Rich Coast Vacations to prepare the house, maintain the property when we are not there, and help guests find and enjoy their stay. They have been great.

This was either the smartest or dumbest move we’ve ever made. Probably the latter, but for now we hope you will enjoy the house as much as we do!
